Play Synapsis: Two Timelines. One Life-Altering Choice. It's 2020, and Hannah's senior year—the one she'd dreamed about—is stolen by the chaos of Covid. But when she’s offered an impossible opportunity to rewrite history—a literal deal with the devil—she faces a moment of truth. Will she reclaim the year she lost, or will she discover that some sacrifices shape us in ways we never imagined?
A gripping story of fate, consequence, and the choices that define us. What would you risk to change the past?

At Falls City School District, there’s nothing we cherish more than watching our students grow—and few stories capture that journey quite like Amber Houghtaling’s.
Amber first walked through the doors of Falls City as a preschooler in 2008, a bright-eyed Mountaineer ready to learn. From those early days all the way through her high school graduation, Amber’s roots only grew deeper. But her story didn’t end there.
Driven by a passion to give back, Amber returned to her hometown school not just as a proud alum, but as a student teacher while earning her degree in Elementary Education at Western Oregon University. She came full circle—teaching in the very classrooms where she once learned to read, write, and dream big.
This is what it means to be homegrown. This is what it means to be a Mountaineer.
As Amber steps into her teaching career, we couldn’t be prouder. We know she’ll inspire the next generation of future teachers, engineers, doctors, nurses, welders, mechanics, and dreamers who walk the halls of Falls City Elementary. Her story reminds us that our small-town roots grow big futures.
Once a Mountaineer, always a Mountaineer.

Thank you for being part of the Falls City community! Let’s make this school year the best one yet 🎉.

We always love it when the alumni stop by to visit. We would like to thank Jim Krummel (class of 64) for stopping by and donating his ''wife's (Roxie
Wheeler, class or 66) heritage emblems off of old cheerleading uniforms and letterman jackets. We would also like to honor their service they provided to the district in years past. Roxie taught at the elementary school and Jim served on the school board during the time that they lived in the community. It was a pleasure giving Jim a tour of the school.

Congratulations to Vanessa Rangel and our PACE Program for winning the $500 MAPS grant!!! We are super excited to purchase items to extend job training, starting with a laminator.
