NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING
A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Falls City School District #57, Polk County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024, will be held in the Board Room at Falls City High School, 111 North Main Street, Falls City, Oregon 97344. The meeting will take place on May 8, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee.
A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after May 1, 2023 at the District administration building between the hours 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

We are committed to helping every student that wants to travel raise the funds to attend regardless of financial barriers.
Come hear all the details including the itinerary, activities, academic opportunities, cost, and EF's risk free enrollment period. The meeting will be held Tuesday, January 24 at 5:30 at Falls City High School, room 101.

FC FACES - URGENT: Due to the decreasing temperatures and increasing precipitation we have decided to cancel FACES for Thursday December 1st. It will not be safe for the bus to travel after 5 pm. If your student takes the bus after FACES they will come home on the bus afterschool instead. If you have concerns about an early dismissal time please respond to this message or call the elementary school office. (503) 787-3521
The Falls City High School boys basketball game with Grande View tonight has been canceled. The girls game scheduled for 5:30 pm is still on.
Urgent: Due to wet areas already starting to freeze and temperatures expected to drop the remainder of the evening and early morning, Falls City Schools will start two hours later than regular scheduled time. Bus will run two hours from the normal pickup times as well.
Attention: The MS basketball game that was scheduled for today, Nov. 28th, has been canceled. We don't have enough players today.

High Schoolers and Families:
Join us for the first home football game. Your admission will be free. Celebrate the start of the new year with staff and other families. It's a great time to be a Mountaineer.

MEET YOUR TEACHER NIGHT is happening September 1st at 6 pm. Pre-K will be at the elementary school, 9th - 12th will be at the high school. Everyone is welcome to come and meet the wonderful teachers and staff members of the Falls City School District! Bring your appetite, we plan on providing yummy snacks and cool drinks.
Reminder! First day of school is Tuesday, September 6th. We will be in session Friday, September 9th. We will resume normal four day school weeks, Monday -Thursday on Monday, September 12th.
